RESISTANCE WELDING
With control systems for spot, projection, butt, flash butt, mesh and seam welding, our portfolio offers the right system for any application.
SPOT WELDING
Adaptive controls such as IQR and real process control through powerful moni- toring and testing systems such as PQS enable reliable welding of the most complex of materials. This allows high- and ultra-high-strength steel grades to be joined reproducibly and economically.
PROJECTION WELDING
Projection welding is a very capable resistance welding variant. It offers advantages in terms of automation because multiple points can be welded in a single pass.
SEAM / BUTT AND FLASH BUTT WELDING
These technical specialties are firmly established in certain niches. Harms+Wende provide the corresponding controls meeting the requirements of the welding processes.
FRICTION WELDING
This newly interpreted ‘old’ joining technology is undergoing rapid development and offers new perspectives in joining technology due to its high process reliability and diversity of applications.

Example:
The inverter type series GeniusHWI XYY offers a maximum of functionality. The version "Extended" is the specialist of spot welding plants for engineering. Its basic equipment is assembled with 24 V I/Os and one analog output of the proportional valve.
Constant current regulation as well as visualizing the runs of current, voltage and resistance of each individual welding operation belong to extended equipment and allow an insight into each welding process.
Additionally there is a regulation range inspector, voltage inspector and a distance inspector as an integrated part of the „Extended“ design for improving quality assurance.

Example:
The inverter type series GeniusHWI XYY offers a maximum of functionality. The version "Professional" is the specialist of engineering for any welding schedules. Its basic equipment is assembled with 24 V I/Os, one analog output of the proportional valve and 512 programs.
Constant current regulation, regulation range inspector and distance inspector as well as visualizing the runs of current, voltage and resistance of each individual welding operation belong to Professional equipment. Additionally we integrated the current inspector and the voltage inspector in the Professional equipment.
Also it is prepared for our systems of IQR and PQS Weld. Electrode management and control of proportional valve are standards. Triggering is possible by the I/O level, Interbus or Profibus interface. The inverters are supplied with an EtherNet network interface as standard which you can
interlink any devices with.
