OVERVIEW
Comac Cal s.r.o. has been engaged in development and production of both the induction heat meters and flow meters since its establishment. For the period of its already long-term existence, it has developed and launched solutions to all sorts of problems beginning from a cheap simple flow meter up to complex intelligent dosing systems with suppressed interference.
In order to meet our customer's needs, we have established an authorised metrological calibration centre. In this way, we are able to help the customers solve all sorts of problems, including consultations and checking the measurements for correction.
The company has extended its offer with meters equipped with oval gears made by Macnaught Pty Ltd and sensor technology with pressure gauges and level meters, including combined sensors along with temperature measurement devices by STS Sensor Technik Sirnach AG. Both of them are multinational companies that are leaders in their branch and are able to solve all sorts of problems in sectors of industry, including necessary certificates.
For the 20-year period of company's history and thanks to our own development centre, we have been able to offer the customer solutions made to order so that it can fully suit to his requirements and in all sorts of branches of industry. Our principal objective is the satisfaction of the customer and we follow this slogan in all we do.
PRODUCTS
Flow meters

The flow meter is a device for gas and liquid flow measurement (by volume or by weight). Measurement of a liquid quantity in a closed pipeline is applied most in industrial practice for liquid flow monitoring, proper batching, and energy consumption evaluation. So applications can be found in any type of industry business, including food, chemical, heavy or health-care industries. In our case, we offer volumetric flow measurement based on induction or oval-gear flow principles. Both variants may include compact meters or those with separated evaluating electronic units, or with/without a display. |
Flow switches

The induction flow meters can be used in the flow switch version with an adjustable flow limit and dead zone. These parameters are easily adjustable via the software environment in PC. These meters can be used e.g. for monitoring of cooling circuits, idling cycles of pumps, etc. The principal advantage of the induction flow switch against other principles consists in absence of mechanical parts (long-term service life), full profile (nearly zero pressure loss), and diverse tube materials (usable for any conductive liquid medium). These sensors are available with a compact evaluating unit or with the electronics housed in the flow meter body. |
Batch meters

Liquid batching needs an accurate flow meter with high repeatability so as to ensure high demands of the technology itself by which means it is possible to select batching meters with an induction flow meter or meters with oval gears whereas maximum advantages of individual measurement principles can be utilised. Consequently, this meter can be supplied with the adjusting component for the batch itself, namely also in the industrial version for manipulation using gloves, or with the control electronics for the shut-off valve so that the measured batch can be as accurate as possible and the hundred-per-cent result of the entire system can be provided. |
Heat meters

Efficient heat management in a number of buildings in housing, communal or other spheres does not do without taking measurement of heat consumption. Heat measurement is a difficult measurement task namely owing to the fact that the flow of thermal energy is not always determined exactly - contrary to electricity or gas. In the sphere of heating, it is necessary to distinguish between two basic categories of heat consumption, measurement for billing purposes and ratio measurement of heat (consumption records) in flats. |
Pressure transducers

The pressure transducers made by STS Sensors Sirnach AG are intended for applications in the most diverse industrial measurement and control systems and they are based on the piezoresistive principle. Pressure transducers must be provided with a high quality encapsulation in stainless steel or titanium with optional terminal for connection according to purpose for which they are supposed to be used. The electronic circuit inside the encapsulation contains a supply voltage stabilizer with surge protection and a temperature compensated output in the form of unified analogue signals or digital data transmission by means of the communication line. |
Level transmitters

Immersion pressure transducers are often used for level measurements. These pressure transducers are equipped with a special waterproof cable gland or a connector and are submerged right in the liquid. The high resistance of the cable and the shell of the transducer against corrosive effects of the medium ensure a long service life. As an example, we can mention a titanium version of the level transmitter tested in seawater applications mostly in the shipbuilding sector. Measuring and recording important parameters such as level, temperature and conductivity can be decisive factors for important decisions in various industries. |
Thermometers

This section brings both the analogue and digital pressure and temperature sensors as well as standalone thermometers. Pressure and/or temperature sensors can be simply programmable where output signals clearly defined for defined pressure and/or temperature ranges. The transducers are manufactured and calibrated so as to meet the customer requirements. All of the transducers are of modular type thanks to which the customer has maximum flexibility during their setting up. The quality of the sensors is high their construction is robust and so they will provide you with consistent and correct data in your operating conditions. |
Multi-sensors

This is a case of sensors combining at least two various types of measurement at the same time. In our offer, it is a case of combination of pressure gauges with thermometers, level and temperature sensors and possibly in connection with conductivity measurement. These sensors are then equipped with two output signals, namely current and voltage ones so that instantaneous values of both quantities are still update and independent of each other. Among others, the advantage of their use is obtaining of two measured quantities with installation of a single sensor. These sensors are usable in all industrial sectors, namely food industry where they are equipped with special washable diaphragms. |
Communication
 |
Our company has developed a special device for data transmission which provides the customer with data transmission capability to a special data base in PC or to e-mail (according to quantity of measured values and frequency), possibly to a local reading device. These are MPD 430 radio devices or GSM WINGPRS 3.0 module whereas both types are equipped with a network element for connecting more devices via RS 485 or M-Bus. Thanks to this, the acquisition costs are split to several parts. The read-out can be performed after a command from the control room, or it can be carried out periodically according to set schedules or events. Owing to on-line communications, the system operator has instant summary of the entire system. |
