JBR Series 30 and 60 Amp switched receptacles are heavy duty flanged and bolted enclosures that provide exceptional safety in hazardous locations. The substantial, copperfree and epoxy powder coated aluminum design provides exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. The terminal block in the mounting box makes wiring easy, and a special polarization option prevents insertion of a plug into a receptacle wired for a different voltage. Dead front interlocked construction requires the plug to be fully inserted before the switch can be placed in the On position.

Applications:

• Lighting systems, conveyors, heaters, motor-generator sets, air conditioners, compressors, pumps and other portable and stationary equipment
• Damp or corrosive locations, or environments where dust may affect performance
• Class I environments such as petrochemical plants, petroleum refineries, paint and chemical plants, or any location where ignitable vapors or gases may be present
• Class II environments such as grain silos, flour processing plants, or any location where ignitable dusts are present
• Class III environments

• Copperfree aluminum receptacle housing and mounting box, stainless steel cover bolts, mounting feet and hinges
• Plug must be fully inserted into the receptacle before the power switch can be turned On
• Receptacle can be locked in the Off position
• Internal switch provides safe and quick disconnect, with no need for a separate disconnect switch
• Spring door keeps out dust when the receptacle is not in use; screw cover also supplied for hose-down applications
• Contacts have beryllium copper wire springs
• Special polarization option ensures that only plugs and receptacles wired for the same voltage can be used together
• Internal terminal block makes wiring easy
