The FSQX 30 Amp receptacle with interlocked switch and cover provides power where explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof protection is needed for portable or stationary equipment. The interlocked switch and cover prevents insertion or removal of the plug unless switch is in the Off position. Constructed of triple coated malleable iron with an epoxy powder coated, copperfree aluminum cover, FSQX is ideally suited for hazardous settings as well as damp and corrosive environments.

Applications:

Features:

• Malleable iron body, copperfree aluminum screw covers, phenolic insulating blocks
• Interlocked switch and cover prevents plug insertion or removal unless switch is in the Off position and breaks the circuit when the locking screw is backed off for removal of the cover
• Energized receptacle terminals are deeply recessed to prevent accidental touching
• Neoprene bushing compressed by cable collar seals against entry of water when receptacle is in use
• Raintight screw cap seals against water when receptacle is not in use
• Insulators provide superior dielectric and mechanical strength along with minimal arc tracking
• Mechanical cable clamps prevent cable strain at the plug connection
• Constant pressure brass contacts ensure superior electrical continuity
