The EBR interlocked circuit breaker receptacle provides power for electrical equipment used in hazardous, damp, wet or corrosive locations. The interlock feature mechanically locks the plug in place when the circuit breaker is in the On position, ensuring that contacts cannot be made or broken under load. The circuit breaker also provides short circuit and thermal time delay overload protection to safeguard valuable equipment against expensive damage.

Applications:

• Compressors, conveyors, motor generators, air conditioners, heaters and other portable equipment
• Damp, wet or corrosive areas
• Hazardous or non-hazardous locations
• Class I environments such as petrochemical plants, petroleum refineries, paint and chemical plants, or any location where ignitable vapors or gases may be present
• Class II environments such as grain silos, flour processing plants, or any location where ignitable dusts are present or where dust may adversely affect performance

Features:

• Epoxy coated copperfree aluminum receptacle and mounting box, stainless steel bolts and hinge pins
• Interlocked connect and disconnect operation ensures that plug and receptacle contacts cannot be made or broken under load
• Circuit breaker provides short circuit and thermal time delay overload protection
• Breaker operating handle can be padlocked in either On or Off position and is trip free
• Three 1-1/2" taper tapped conduit openings, one on top and two on the bottom
• 3/4" threaded openings  top and bottom for installation of optional drain and breathers (3/4"-1/2" reducer furnished)
• Cover secured with captive quick-bolts for easy installation or removal
• Receptacle ratings available are 30, 60, and 150 Amp
• Circuit breakers are thermal-magnetic type – 150 Amp frame size, 20 to 100 Amp trip
• Special polarization option ensures that only plugs and receptacles wired for the same voltage can be used together
• Uses either ACP Powertite® or CPH plugs
