The rotameter’s operation is based on the variable area principle : Fluid raises a float in a tapered tube, increasing the area for passage of the fluid. The height of the float is directly proportional to the flow rate.
Available in:
- flange connection _F801
- screw connection_F802
- plastic end fittings_F803 , F804, F806 - for applications where metal wetted parts cannot be tolerated, such as with deionized water or corrosives
- Teflon lined rotameters _ F805 - for the service of corrosion resistance.
- Without guide rod_ F807 - for the application for low flow rate.
- With small dimension _F808 - to be used where the installation space is limited.
- With protection cover _ F809
- With flow control valve_ F810 - to operate on/off valve or activate alarm.
- Sanitary type _F811 - for sanitary applications in food, beverage and pharmaceuticals.
