A Choice in Rewind Motors

Relying on feedback from end users, starting in November we have changed our standard rewind motor to a 1/3 HP motor rated at 650 rpms (model AN-227) on the following reel models:

- E1500 (1/2" hose ID) reels 
- E1800 and E4000 (3/4" and 1" ) reels 
- E2000 (1/2" twin hydraulic) reels 

The standard electric rewind motor for all fire rescue reels, however, will remain the same (model AN-239, 1/5 HP, with a nominal 420 rpm speed).

Please also note that customers who prefer to stay with the slower speed motor are free to specify either at time of order-- there is no difference in price between the two motors.
